Don't you hate when one bad week from a main guy kills your season? This is the time of year when depth helps and grabbing that hot player makes the team win. Having a bad matchup and no back-up plan can kill you in these one week playoffs.
San Francisco @ Seattle
Why did San Fran dump their season over the last 3 weeks? After they beat Seattle they sunk against St. Louis, New Orleans and Green Bay – two of those should have been winners and then this game would matter for the division race.
Start ‘em – S. Alexander, M. Hasselbeck, F. Gore, A. Bryant
Bench ‘em – D. Jackson, N. Burleson, D. Hackett, J. Stevens, A. Smith, V. Davis
Dallas @ Atlanta
After being pants on national TV, Dallas looks to get back on track against Atlanta. Atlanta needs this game more, but may still have a chance for a playoff spot with a loss. Expect Dallas to win this one.
Start ‘em – M. Vick, A. Crumpler, T. Romo, T. Owens, T. Glenn
Bench ‘em – J. Jones, J. Witten, M. Barber, W. Dunn, J. Norwood, M. Jenkins, A. Lelie
20% Off Insulated Beer Keg Jacket
Tampa Bay @ Chicago
Chicago will be in for a rude awakening come the playoffs when they actually have to play better teams. They won’t know what to do. If you have the Bears D – a nice playoff boon for you here.
Start ‘em – R. Grossman, B, Berrian, T. Jones
Bench ‘em – Tampa Bay O, M. Bradley, D. Clark
Marginal – C. Benson
Pittsburgh @ Carolina
Pittsburgh’s quest to finsh the season strong will most likely end here. Carolina is winning the games and losing in the end, but keeping fantasy points of the opposing teams down.
Start ‘em – S. Smith, H Ward (if playing)
Bench ‘em – W. Parker, H. Miller, N. Washington, J. Delhomme or C. Weinke, D. Foster, D. Williams
Marginal – K. Johnson, B. Roethlisberger

Miami @ Buffalo
Miami has had a strong second half of the season outside of the Jaguars game. They win this one easy.
Start ‘em – M. Booker, R. McMichael, L. Evans
Bench ‘em – J.P. Losman, W. McGahee, P. Price, C. Chambers, J. Harrington
Marginal – S. Morris
Jacksonville @ Tennessee
Tennessee has been playing good, but Jacksonville has been playing better. The only worry here is if the running backs have not yet recovered from last week.
Start ‘em – F. Taylor, M. Drew, T. Henry, V. Young, B. Scaife
Bench ‘em – D. Garrard, M. Jones, R. Williams, E. Wilford, D. Bennett
Cleveland @ Baltimore
Oh, My. Baltimore will probably shut out the Browns and the D will score in the process. Great play for Ravens D this week.
Start ‘em – Ravens D, J. Lewis, T. Heap, K. Winslow
Bench ‘em – The rest of the Browns, S. McNair, D. Mason
Marginal – M. Clayton
Washington @ New Orleans
Can the Saints avoid a post prime time game slump against the Skins? They are trying for a first round Bye so they have too, but they may be a little flat and the game may be closer than people think.
Start ‘em – D. Brees, D. McAllister, R. Bush, M. Colston (if he plays), L. Betts, C. Cooley
Bench ‘em – J. Campbell, S. Moss, B. Lloyd
Marginal – D. Henderson, J. Horn
Houston @ New England
Easy pick here. A chance for NE to re-compose themselves.
Start ‘em – T. Brady, D. Graham, C. Dillon
Bench ‘em – D. Carr, R. Dayne, E. Moulds, R. Caldwell, T. Brown
Marginal – A. Johnson
N.Y. Jets @ Minnesota
Jets almost need to win out, but Minnesota may make that tough especially as they are still somewhat alive for a playoff spot.
Start ‘em – C. Taylor, L. Coles, J. Cotchery
Bench ‘em – B. Johnson, M. Robinson, T.Taylor, T. Williamson, C. Pennington, C. Baker, L. Washington

Detroit @ Green Bay
This game should provide fantasy points to go around. Kudos to those who have players on either squad.
Start ‘em – B. Favre, D. Driver, A. Green, R. Williams, M. Furrey, J. Kitna
Bench ‘em – G. Jennings, B. Franks
Denver @ Arizona
Denver has all but assured itself an early end to the season but putting Cutler in. One thinks they may still be in it had Plummer been playing the last 2 weeks.
Start ‘em – J. Cutler, J. Walker, T. Scheffler, T. Bell, L. Fitzgerald
Bench ‘em – E. James, M. Leinart, R. Smith
Marginal – A. Boldin
St. Louis @ Oakland
Blah. Who cares? Oh, right, owners of Bulger, Holt and Jackson.
Start ‘em – S. Jackson, M. Bulger
Bench ‘em – R. Moss, A. Brooks
Marginal – J. Fargas, R. Curry, T. Holt
Philadelphia @ N.Y. Giants
This is a big game for both of these borderline playoff teams. Giants can run, Eagles can not stop the run. But that being said it has not stopped the previous two Eagle opponents from losing the games by not running. Who knows – it is the NFC.
Start ‘em – T. Barber, E. Manning, J. Shockey, P. Burress, B. Westbrook, J. Garcia, D. Stallworth
Bench ‘em – H. Baskett, G. Lewis
Marginal – R. Brown, L. J. Smith

Kansas City @ San Diego
NBC match up of the week. This is going to be a run fest. The two backs featured have only a few yards difference between them. One will be the rushing champ for the season – LJ wants it as it is all he will get this year, LT wants it so he can lay claim on the best RB year ever.
Start ‘em – L. Tomlinson, A. Gates, L. Johnson, T. Gonzolez
Bench ‘em – E. Kennison, S. Parker, E. Parker, V. Jackson
Marginal – P. Rivers, T. Green

Cincinnati @ Indianapolis
This one will be a track meet in the dome, with both teams having to win for different reasons. Cincy needs it to get to the playoffs, Indy needs it to hope to have a bye. Cincy will run and pass, Indy will pass.
Start ‘em – R. Johnson, C. Johnson, P. Manning, M. Harrison, R. Wayne
Bench ‘em – J. Addai, D. Rhodes
Marginal – T.J. Houshmandzadeh, C. Henry, C. Palmer
